HAPPY 2008 TO ALL CABAIR MEMBERS AND VISITORS

All at London School of Flying wish you a very Happy New Year and great flying for 2008! To kick off this year, let's just reflect on 2007 and what flying was achieved during an eventful flying year. Our very popular Wednesday trips proved a great success once again: here are a few details:

There was a total of 35 day trips throughout 2007.  In addition, we flew a Charity "Round London Day" which raised money for Flying for the Disabled with 6 aircraft visiting in excess of 60 airfields! Quite an achievement!

There were 3 two day trips; one around Holland; the second around the South of France and the Pyrenees and the third around the coast of Scotland. All were exciting, visually marvellous and with their moments of great humour.

4 students have been able to join the trips as part of their navigation section of the PPL and 4 other pilots have joined the Wednesday  trips and extended their skills and experience having just completed their PPLs. So if you are debating whether to start to learn to fly - see what you're missing! Come and see us now!

There is litle doubt that rain/cloud and general bad weather effects aviation in this country. However, as you can see, here at London School of Flying, we have now reached the the end of our third year of Wednesday trips and we can clearly see from the records that a great deal of flying can be achieved - despite the good old WEnglish weather!
