Whether for the thrill, the challenge, for a personal goal, leisure, business, towards a future career or even if you have a fear of flying, our experienced instructors ensure you will enjoy your first flight experience. Helicopter introductory flights and training lessons take place at our schools in Blackbushe, Cranfield, Elstree and Rochester.
Should you progress to gain your own licence, you can self-fly hire or buy your own aircraft and travel whenever you want!`All of our lessons include a pre-flight briefing, fantastic 'hands-on flight' and count towards your Private Pilot's Licence for Helicopters.

Your instructor will guide you through the basics of helicopter flight during your lesson, and even let you have a go at hovering on the spot!

The 60/60 lesson includes 60 minutes* 'hands-on' time plus 60 minutes pre-flight briefing during this 2 hour package. It is excellent value at £280

Both the 30/30 and 60/60 introductory lessons offer 'hands-on' helicopter training and a sample of the challenging world of rotary wing flight. Although the flying controls look much the same as those in an aeroplane, there's a world of difference in the handling techniques necessary!
The Heli Start Flying course Start learning to fly the world's most popular training helicopter, the Robinson R-22 Beta with this unique 'hands-on' training package. HELI-Start provides you with 5 hours* of dual flight training towards your PPL(H).

You will cover and practice all of the early flight exercises in the training syllabus within your five, two hour booking sessions. Each 2 hour session normally includes one hour of flying and one hour of briefing. The cost is pre-paid and 'all-inclusive'.

PLEASE NOTE: Only one 'HELI-START' is available per customer. It includes free membership and aerodrome fees for the duration of the course.
