Biggin Hill School of Flying
Biggin Hill airport has been operational since the 1920s and is probably most famous for the role it played during the Second World War. It is now a highly successful commercial airport serving the South, South East and Central London, Kent and Sussex.
Biggin HIll School of Flying's training facilities were acquired in 1978 and after thirty years in the same building, they moved to the current premises in 2009.
They are a busy school offering a wide range of training courses for the Private Pilot and those looking to go on to becoming a professional pilot.
Private pilots particularly find Biggin attractive due to it having excellent access to the Continent, Le Touquet being just 40 minutes away. Full time Customs facilities are present at the airport. The School often arrange trips abroad and our aircraft set off in convoy for an exciting trip to the Channel Islands, France or further afield.
