They have a very smart fleet which includes Diamond Star DA40 glass cockpit aeroplanes and the Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters.At Cranfield Airport, it is an excellent place to train - particularly if you have desires to go on for further qualifications such as Night Rating or an IMC (Instument & Meteorological Conditions). There are NDB, VOR and an ILS approaches plus two hours of night time licensing in Winter.
