Learn to Fly with Cabair Flying Schools
Welcome to Cabair Flying Schools Web Site and Portal. Here, we can tell you what it's like to learn to fly, we can point you in the direction of your nearest Cabair Flying School so you can book your flying lessons, we can even get you airborne in a very short space of time by directing you to our Flying Vouchers web site where you can buy anything from a half hour flight to a full course of training.
Flying is available to all and the myth that it is a hobby only for the rich is a popular misconception. It is probably no more expensive than joining a golf club around London and the Home Counties. You pay the initial sum to gain your licence, then fly so many hours a year to maintain your currency. As hobbies go, we believe you'll find that making a perfect crosswind landing is infinately more challenging and rewarding than sinking a birdy putt.
Payment is usually made on a pay-as-you-fly basis with various discounts available depending on your membership. However, there are various ways of maximising the impact of your spend with various schemes such as our best selling PPL Builder (200 sold since its inception!) or our Off Peak PPL Package.

Find a flying school near you
Find your nearest Cabair Flying School using our Locator Map. Also, there is a link to each of our schools through the Menu to the right.
The best way to find out what is available is to visit your local school and talk to the staff and Instructors in Operations. They will be able to advise on the best course for you. If you would like to obtain some information now, you can download Data Sheets of all our courses and unique products. There is a Download Area here on cabairflyingschools.com plus there is a Download Area at each of our individual school websites. Prices between the schools are mostly the same but do have a few local variations such as landing fees which tend to differ between airfields.
Apart from talking with the staff at our individual schools, we have also set up our Pilots Advice Centre at our HQ at Elstree Aerodrome. The PAC is there to give you one to one advice on which course or package will be right for you. Everyone is different, learning at different paces and with varying amounts of income, so the PAC is there to help guide you. Their contact details are found on the left.
We wish you happy flying lessons and look forward to seeing you learn to fly at a Cabair Flying School soon.
